Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Dr. Eanah’s journey into understanding human behavior began with dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Temple University, followed by a master’s and Ph.D. in Psychology from Penn State University. During her doctoral training, she was competitively selected for the U.S. Air Force Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP), launching a distinguished 12-year career as a military psychologist.
Throughout her service, Dr. Eanah became known for her ability to help people navigate complexity—whether through evidence-based clinical care, performance optimization, or leadership development. She accrued thousands of clinical hours working with service members, families, and leaders, while directing programs in areas like alcohol and drug treatment, health psychology, sleep, biofeedback, mindfulness, and trauma-informed therapy.
In 2019, Dr. Eanah was competitively selected for a Forensic Psychology Fellowship, spending the second half of her military career as an Investigative Psychologist with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI). In this high-stakes role, she consulted on complex criminal cases, provided behavioral analysis, and developed training curriculum to help federal agents apply psychological principles to their investigations. These experiences deepened her expertise in trauma, decision-making, and the human capacity for resilience under pressure.
Now, as the founder of Ascension Coaching and Consultation, Dr. Eanah channels her extensive expertise in human behavior, leadership, and performance to help individuals, organizations, and investigative teams gain clarity, build resilience, and achieve measurable results. Her approach is grounded in the belief that understanding how people think, feel, and operate is key to driving growth and solving challenges.
Beyond her consulting and psychological work, Dr. Eanah is also a creative force. She coined the phrase “healing by singing” after writing and releasing *Star*—a song honoring her daughter Daja, featuring Grammy-nominated artist Mumu Fresh. She continues to write music, host the *In Session with Dr. Eanah* podcast, and produce documentary projects, using creativity as another way to explore and share the human experience.
